We’re currently piloting Go Renewable in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Bristol and Oxfordshire. Home survey assessors and installers will only be working in these areas until wider rollout.

If you live outside of these areas, you can still use our free, independent online assessment to find out which renewable technologies are suitable for your home.

Air source heat pump

An air source heat pump transfers energy from the outside air to heat your property and hot water.

Ground source heat pump

A ground source heat pump transfers energy from the ground to heat your home and hot water.

Biomass boiler

A biomass boiler burns wood pellets or logs to heat your property and hot water.

Solar photovoltaic panels

Solar panels, also known as solar photovoltaics (PV), convert sunlight to electricity that can power your appliances, charge a battery and be sold to the grid.

Electric battery

An electric battery stores electricity for later use. For example, if you’re out during the day and not using the electricity from your solar panels, the battery will store it for you to use when you're home.

Solar hot water panels

Solar hot water systems collect heat from the sun to heat your water. The hot water is stored in a hot water tank or thermal store until you need to use it.
