-
Applicability
- These Terms and Conditions apply to Installers when they register to receive quote requests from the Go Renewable website. They are in addition to any other conditions applicable when visiting the website gorenewable.org.uk not in lieu of them and should be read in conjunction with the Go Renewable Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy which have hyperlinks in the footer of the website.
- By accessing and then registering to receive quote requests for the installation of renewable products, you are bound by the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, you should not register for quote requests.
-
Your relationship with Go Renewable
- Registration with Go Renewable is restricted to currently certified MCS businesses. Go Renewable will require a current MID login and password to gain access for the primary account. Upon registration you will be granted access to your installer profile where you must provide all required detail about your business. Completion of these details and acceptance by Go Renewable will grant access to a dashboard of available, posted jobs relevant to the installer’s certified technologies and location.
- Go Renewable's responsibility is limited to providing opportunities for you to quote for your services, although we can’t guarantee to provide any enquiries. Go Renewable does not credit check householders or any others who express interest in having renewables installed and therefore Installers must carry out their own due diligence.
- All information provided by Go Renewable and included in the Renewable Assessment including heat load calculations is provided for the purpose of the initial Go Renewable quote only. If a Householder accepts the quotation, Installers should verify all data and specifications before contracting with the Householder in line with MCS standards.
- In return for the opportunity to provide a quotation, you agree to pay Go Renewable a non-refundable fee every time you send a quote.
- You are required to acknowledge that Go Renewable is unable to influence the outcome of any quotation and does not guarantee any work from the jobs that the Installer has quoted for.
- You agree that you shall not attempt to circumvent Go Renewable to avoid paying the quotation fee. Any breach of this clause will give rise to our right to terminate this Agreement in accordance with clause 9.3
- Go Renewable is not a party to or responsible for any actions, interactions or transactions between you and the Householder (including quotations, payment terms, additional surveys and installation of products and/or services).
- In registering for Go Renewable quote requests, you agree that Go Renewable and its operators, MCS and EST shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such interactions. If there is a dispute between you and a Householder, and/or between you and another Installer or sub-contractor or between you and any other third party, you agree that Go Renewable is not under any responsibility to get involved.
- In the event that you do have a disagreement with a Householder or with another Installer or sub-contractor, you hereby release Go Renewable and its operators EST and MCS, their employees and agents from any and all losses, claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind or nature, known or unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way related to such disputes other than to the extent arising from our breach of these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this clause shall limit or exclude either party's liability for anything which cannot be limited or excluded.
- Go Renewable, and its operators EST and MCS, will not be involved or held liable for any agreement or contractual obligation between you and the Householder. Furthermore, Go Renewable, and its operators EST an MCS, are not a party to any agreement or contract that could arise between you and the Householder, as a result of you using Go Renewable. Accordingly, Go Renewable, and its operators MCS and EST, accept no liability for loss or damages including loss of profit, sales, business, or revenue; loss of business opportunity, goodwill, or reputation; loss of anticipated savings; business interruption; or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage that the Installer could incur as a result of any such agreement. Clause 3.7 will survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions for Installers excludes or restricts Go Renewable and its operator’s EST and MCS, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for any other forms of liability which cannot be lawfully excluded or restricted.
